I'm interested in knowing her parents, or even if it's in the book "The Descendants of Captain John Morrison of Colchester County, Nova Scotia", that you are working on. Many people say her last maiden name was Morrison, but upon viewing her gravestone it appears in the summer of 2001 to read Mortson, but it's very weather worn. There are many tombstone errors due to the fact that they are erected by the living whose memories may not be accurate. Her last name has been spelled in different documents three different ways, take your pick as to which way you care to spell the last name; same goes for the spelling of her married name ie; Healy , Healey , Haley or Haly (it just depends on which branch you descended). She married May 04, 1794 in Yarmouth, Shelburne Co., Nova Scotia to John (Capt.) HEALY (b. Abt. 1770 in Chebogue, Annapolis Co., Nova Scotia, son of Ebenezer and Grace (Bullen) HEALY - d.
